Apollo Wave Guide

The Apollo Wave Guide Unit has been specially designed for use on tanks with metal stays. Like the Apollo Standard, the Wave Guide Unit uses a transmitter and a receiver. However in this instance, the transmitter software has been designed to work in conjunction with a plastic guide pipe to allow the unit to ignore the tank's support stays.

The main features of this Apollo Wave Guide are its unparalleled high quality FM system. The unit contains a long life lithium battery and is universally usable of all tanks up to 3 metres in height. The transmission distance is 200 metres.

The Apollo transmitter fits into a 20mm/32mm diameter hole on the top of the tank, or by using the plastic adaptor (optional) fits a standard 38mm (1.5") gauge socket normally found in steel tanks. Suitable for use in tanks for the storage of diesel fuel, kerosene, and gas oil, Types A2, C1, C2, and D as defined by BS 2869. The Apollo meets EC and EMC regulations.
